Below is our servicing and pricing structure for all the services
which we provide within the area of the map below. All prices include waste disposal and maintenance
grease/spray where needed. We are not VAT registered so no VAT will
be added to these prices.

Garage Service Only
We use two grades of oil which are both synthetic meaning the oil is
of good quality. The grades are 10W/40 and 5W/30.
Pattern parts are identical to original parts but don't have the
makers logo stamped on them.
Pollen filters which do not require removing the glove box to fit
are included in the prices below otherwise a £10
charge will be added on top of the service cost (full service only)
Our hourly labour rate is
£30/hour.
All prices below are based on cars up to a 1.8 litre Vauxhall
Vectra size.
Full Service
includes changing the oil and filter, air filter, pollen filter,
fuel filter and spark plugs. Service also includes a full car check
over including removing the wheels and checking the brakes.
Cost of this
service is £55
labour plus parts. Parts cost will vary according to whether you
require original or pattern parts.
Intermediate service
includes changing the oil and filter. Service also includes a full
car check over including removing the wheels and checking the
brakes.
Cost of this
service is £45
labour plus parts. Parts cost will vary according to whether you
require original or pattern parts.
Basic service
includes changing the oil and filter and checking the fluid levels
within the engine bay.
Cost of this
service is £35
labour plus parts. Parts cost will vary according to whether you
require original or pattern parts.
The pricing of
servicing varies according to the type of service and vehicle which
you have, for example:
A
Full Service
on a Vauxhall Corsa up to a 1.8 litre Vauxhall Vectra size will be £55
labour plus parts.
A
Full Service
on cars 2.0 litre and above - Vauxhall Vectra size up
to a three litre car will be £65
labour plus parts.
We also
provide a service where we will take your car down for an MOT and
wait there until it is complete. MOT's generally take around 45
minutes. Our charge for this service is £30.
If the vehicle fails and needs to go back then the charge will be an
extra £15.
We carry out
other work including, clutch and gearbox replacement, head gaskets,
engine replacement/repair and many other jobs. Please call for a
quote on any other work required.
Mobile Service
Full Service
A full service
includes checking your vehicles air conditioning for performance, if
the pressure readings are low then we will extract any gas which you
may have left in the system which will be filtered and cleaned. We
then carry out a vacuum check. While the system is carrying out a
vacuum check other items of the air conditioning are checked,
including the compressor unit (pump), the condenser, the cooling fan
unit, the AC pipes and joints, the AC belt and other items.
If the vacuum check passes the
leak test then we add fresh compressor oil and a yellow leak dye
into the system. We then fill up the system with the correct amount
of gas and check for correct operation and pressure readings.
Finally we
check the cabin temperature is within range.

Leak Test
This service
includes checking the pressures within the AC system. If the
pressures are low it is likely that the gas has evaporated over time
or you have a leak. We would recover any gas which you may have left
in the system and then inject a quantity of nitrogen gas into the
system. We would then use a leak detector tool and follow all the
pipe work where accessible to see where the possible leak could be.
We would also
check inside the cars ventilation system vents to see whether there
is a leak from the evaporator. Once we have found a leak then we can
quote you on the necessary work that is need to repair the leak.

Ventilation De-Contamination
This service
involves de-contaminating and deodorising the ventilation system.
Why does this need to be done?
The main
purpose of the air conditioning is to remove moisture within the
interior of the car. When the air conditioning system is used it
pulls this moisture out of the air and holds it in the evaporator in
the form of liquid, this liquid (water) eventually drains away
outside on the floor via a drain tube located in the base of the
evaporator housing.
As this liquid
drains away some moisture still remains on the evaporator which
eventually becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and mould/fungus.
It is this bacteria, mould and fungus which needs to be neutralised.
If this is left untreated many problems can arise including a foul
smell when operating the heater/cooling system ventilation, which not
only smells bad but could potentially be harmful to your breathing,
especially if you are a hay fever or asthma sufferer.

Ideally the
pollen filter which is sometimes located behind the glove box should
be replaced if you require this service. The cost will be £10
labour plus the cost of the part if the glove box requires to be
removed otherwise if the pollen filter is very easy to access then
it would be included in the service plus the cost of the pollen
filter.
Mobile Service
This
service involves removing the stone chip from your windscreen using
the latest technology. We remove the air which is trapped in the
chip area and then inject a clear resin in place of the air. Once
this process has been completed and all the air is out we then coat
the surface of the chip with a pit fill resin which is cured under a
ultra violet light making the repaired area as hard as the existing
screen.

Mobile Service
Windscreen clarity is becoming more and more of and issue when an
MOT is concerned. Light scuff marks made by poor quality wiper
blades and dirty windscreens could impede the view of the driver
potentially causing an accident so the windscreen need to be clear.
We
use a special kit which will remove those light scratches and bring
your windscreen back to original quality. We can also remove
scratches from most other glass whether it be double glazing or a
fancy coffee table.
Cost of this
service is £30 an hour. (within the

(see map below) and £35 an hour
between the RED
ring and the ORANGE
ring.
